Hi

I have managed to setup a online stream using the 500c...works fine...
my dad can now watch live games 600miles away....sweet.

problem is...we have to watch the same thing.....

now i have 2 questions>maybe 3!!
1...i have a 500s and an active sky feed...can i connect this and do the same...this would enable him to recieve an independent feed....when the footie comes on he can use the 500c feed....can both be set up this way at the same time.

2...
is it possible to split the VM feed into two 500c boxes to give independent channels.

3rd question!...
how do i change the dreambox `user` and `password`...i would like to change these to something unique to myself and dad.

4th...
also is it possible for me to play a movie on the pc to the dreambox(vlc file needs editing for this?).....if so will that be seen on the stream?

1. You will need a sky card for that to work. Connect both receivers to the router. Bandwidth might be a problem streaming two feeds and they might freeze.

3 yes and one maybe....not bad.

i wouldn`t run the two together....just port-forward the sly to him, then on match days port him the cable...
the other idea is to leave the sky access open to him, and only stream the cable when needed...i have a sly card and can passthru all the paid channels no problem....

whats the best way to set up the vlc...do i need to edit the file via dcc?
