    DM500 DM500C Questions

    Hi all. Firstly where is the best UK genuine dreambox supplier (by best I mean cheapest)
    Are they easy to flash, I'm aware there are guides on here that explain how to do it. Are they reliable? I've been reading a few posts on how the dm500c have been blowing.

      You cannot buy a genuine dm500c as they stopped making them sometime ago. All dm500 are clones and generally come from China.

          Thanks for the reply mate, whats the replacement for the dm500c then? And where is the best place to buy without having my pants pulled down over the price?

              most people buy from china.

              you could try dvbseller or google is your friend. you can buy a legit 600 if you are looking for the dream warranty.

                  Yeah I am aware of the search engine google mate, Was just looking for someone who could give me some friendly advice about where to buy a genuine dreambox at a fair price. Namley someone who has bought from the uk from a genuine dreambox seller. Thanks for the input.

                      I have a genuine dm600C and a clone dm600S both work perfectly. I got my genuine dm600c from satstore and my clone dm600s from China.

                                  There is a genuine DM500+ from Dream Multimedia and I think I seen one on Ebay but they are like hens teeth to find

                                      Cheers portbhoy, Just had a look at that site now the 500+ being advertised on there looks like it's for sat and not c*ble mate and for some reason they're not displaying there prices. But thanks for the reference mate.
