dream box black box?

hi all ive just bought a blackbox was told its the updated version of dreambox works just the same etc im in ireland using mmds how do i go about getting channels hope someone can help me done a scan but picked up nothing

use filezilla to connect to your box and FTP the terrestrial.xml file into the /var/etc folder

scan on Cho**us MMDS and your done

hi again i transfered the files did a scan picking up transponders but no services nothing no free to air even

did you get a scan running and have you got the list of channels in . . .

yep scanned and got channel lists

have you installed the roms

if not, then you need to be able to ftp to the box and put the roms into var/scce

got xlm terresterial file with irish freqs do i need more than that?

yes bud,

you need to install the roms, get them here
new_roms.rar -- FileFactory.com - free file hosting --

ftp to the box and put them into var/scce
then right click them, select properties/chmod and make them 755

then reboot the box and all should be ok....
