    DM500 Thinking of getting a dm500 c

    Hi all thinking of getting a DM500C setup box is the latest firmware available? on here, what channels do you get?

    FTA only, and there are very few of those on cable. Unless you want to use your own subscription card (need pairing details & knowledge) or have access to a cable cardserver (not many about) then buying a cable based dreambox is presently pointless.

      "pairing details" I take it this info was available prior to the card change some time ago, i.e. 3.5Mhz Pheonix/Glitch....10/11bx

      But without these two bits of InfoRD, the process of using a DM500CBK is not possible?

      I understand a subc4rd is required,but getting the two bits of data are still required for DM500 usage?
