I was wondering if any fo these boxes will actually be different and wondering if it would be worth forking out amost 3x the price for possibley the same thing.

here is were i got mine Sat Sun, Digital TV takes 7 days to arrive to ireland and worked out at 80 euros

thats a good price at satsun and 7 days is a very reasonable delivery time.

I got my dm600 from satsun but I would say seven days delivery is a little optimistic. It is more like at least 14 days for delivery.

well m8 i got few boxes from the already never had any hassle and the delivery time was 7 working days

I never had any hassle but I did have to give them a little nudge after 7 days as there was no activity on the despatch side but they delivered fine once they got the nudge. Their boxes are competitively priced and I would be happy to re-order from them again.

I looked round and, yes, there is a big difference in price... not sure why but have heard there are a lot of clones around.

do not buy at dvbmonkey.. placed an order 10 days ago and it even get shipped.. and the reports there are even worse.. 2 months to receive

dvb monkey is a NO GO!!! i`ve ordered one from them 2 had 2 go to paypall so they can orginise a refund after nearly 2 months of wayting,tryed 2 email them numeros times but no joy.Got the refund thanks 2 paypall.

Pretty much all new 500c are clones as DM don't make them any more

I get form dvbseller.com every week, no problems at all, and they look after you if any problems.

john8867 purchased his 500c from sms sat, its the only place you can still buy an original 500c they have a pallet load in storage which is why he paid big bucks, i bought my 500c from them 12 mths ago and paid big money aswell,

just yesterday i received a 500c from dvb seller after 9 days and only paid 83 euro delivered,

people in the know reckon a good clone is an even better box than the original they even come now with a phillips tuner ( screw in type )...

it will probably come down to personal opinion but as you've been well advised steer clear of dvb monkey..

Got a openmedia box which is essentially a dm500c+dm500s from simplesat for ?109. Ordered Monday and recieved on Tuesday with free delivery.

I think a list of supported sellers and companies to stay away from would make a useful sticky in this section and stop this same question being asked several time after this post drops off the first page.
