    Dreambox 500c help please

    Hi guys,

My dad got one of these boxes about 6 months ago already setup , it's running through our v!rgin (net gear) router and was working great until a few days ago. We tried getting in touch with the guy who sold us it but he's long since vanished .

It's has Pli jade on it and all free view channels are working but others are just black screen.

I've done a factory reset on it but I'm stumped at transponder scan, can anyone provide me with help or tutorial getting this back online.

I'm in northern Ireland if that matters.

Is this box now just an expensive free view box ?

    Thank you.

Is there no way I could fix this myself, I've done a few boxes in the past but not dreambox.

Any ideas how this worked before? I don't think it was cardsharing.

When I try to scan transponders I get all known transponders have been tried but no lock was possible.

On both sr6875 and sr6900 but is there even mAnual settings I can enter?

They used to work but the dont anymore. I think it may have been more than a few weeks ago it went off. How long was it actually?

It stopped literally a few days ago. It was freezing for a while but a reboot usually fixed it.

Oh and thank you for taking the time to help me.

Can anyone even supply me with setting to get freview working as since factory reset Its done.

You will find it very difficult to get someone to supply channels for you on that box. Best looking at going down the satellite route i think if you are eager to get things up and running again.
