DreamBox not connecting to Internet

I have been able to update the Roms on my Dreambox, using CuteFTP, the setup is through a router, but when tring to add new emulators on the Dreambox using the update, it does not connect to the internet.
I am using DW ver 2.
Any ideas would be much appriciated.

Is your default gateway set to the ip address of your router?

What is the error you get when trying to download from the addons menu?

Maybe try doing a factory reset and try again.

Remember to save your services and bouquets first! You can do this by going to the User Features menu and select 'ServicesBackup'. You will get a 'services.tar.gz' file in the /tmp folder, copy this to your PC. Do your factory reset, setup your network settings, copy the services.tar.gz file back to the /tmp folder and select the 'ServicesRestore' option in the User Features menu.

Then try to download from the addons menu again.
