Shall I throw this away?

Hello all - a friend of mine passed me this strange looking box with cards and ask can it be recovered? I guess it must have been 'dead' for a long while cos' i've never seen such box before.

I'm running on a DM500C-vii in SG and I doubt it can be used here.
Any advise good or bad are welcome cos' most likely I'll ask him to junk it unless there's a miracle solution.

Although it would probably only be good for FTA channels,i personally would do some research and give it a go,but then i love to tinker .

can throw liao. It hs served it purpose. Altog it still a good working box. Unless u kno Card programming, its too xpensive 2 kip.
