    DM Box 500 and 600 connecting

    I have a dream box 600 PVR with the pilotie image on and a 500 with the digital kaos image. If possible i dont want to hardwire the other box using a spliter and then having to lift all the floor board to make it tidy.

    However is it possible to do the following.

    Current setup PVR plugged into main TV and cable and into Router for wireless connection.

    If i also plug the other box into the router can i send from the 600PVR box to the 500 box wireless,. I know i probably could not change channels but just viewing the same channel will be fine.

    Has anyone ever setup anything like this before ?

      What are you planning to send between your two boxes? You can send files between the two boxes but if you are planning to stream video between the two boxes than I think you will have problems.

          I've never heard of the dreambox receiving streams via ethernet, only sending streams. I may be wrong though but I don't think this is poddible...yet!

              Ok that plan is out the window then, only way is to route a cable around the house.
