DM500 Help

hi all, my friend gave me a dm500-c that he thinks he has killed. he was editing some keys and the box went off. there is 12v coming out of the transformer but no lights on the front of the box. i cant ftp or use dream up to connect to the box as its not powering up. do you think it is dead or is there a way of recovering it via j-tag. any help will be appreciated, thanx

Did you install gemini 4.5?

i think he did. he reflashed it and about 10-15 mins later it went off
