    Dreambox 600c and 800c

    Hi guys,

I had a dreambox 500c that went off a week or so ago, i've been informed it's just a free view box now

I've been looking online, and was thinking about purchasing either the 600 or 800c.

The site says they come pre setup for uk cable with access to 300 plus channels, is this true? Will this bring all my channels back?

    Thank you.

500 cable box that only went off a week ago ? I take it your not in the UK then. There are cable boxes that will clear channels here but they run on cardshare and by and large they are unreliable.

      THE TRUTH
      The Hillsborough Independent Panel. 12/09/12

Today's report is black and white. The Liverpool fans were not the cause of the disaster.
The panel has quite simply found 'no evidence' in support of allegations of 'exceptional levels of drunkenness, ticketlessness or violence among Liverpool fans' and 'no evidence that fans had conspired to arrive late at the stadium' and 'no evidence that they stole from the dead and dying'.

        Thanks for the replys guys,

Yeah only went off 2 weeks ago max, we bought it off a guy pre setup so it could have been cardsharing, but they guy we got it off is long gone to find out. I got 7 months or so outta it.

So is there any boxes on the Market that can grab all channels on cable or sat?

I live in N.Ireland if that makes any difference. I know we went from niagra1 til 2 then 3 is that why old star view type boxes are redundant?

500s will grab all channels via c/s.. cable boxes that 'work' are starview and kryptview, but they up and down like a whores draws

I thought star view was redundant since niagra 3 came in.

I'm on cable ATM v*rgin and my old 500c was connected to my router, can you guys recommend a box that would get me more than FTA channels or is the scene dead and gone?

I see posts on here about keys, are they the old viewing keys that used to work for a month or so then got changed?

            Thanks

starview and kryptview or c/s are the ONLY way at all you'll get hooky tv on cable. if you buy a kv or sv, be prepared for dissappointment the first time u attempt to watch the footy

Would you recommend any boxes? I'm not to fussed on the footy as I usually head to the pub to escape the wife and kid.

So no point buying another dreambox?

not unless you can find a share on cable... and they hard to find..

id recommend a sat box, dm500s, or openbox s10 normal sly dish and web will get you all sly channels..
