DM500 Choppy Picture on Recordings

Hi

I have a DM500C and have set it up with direct recording to my mac using CIFS. when i record off my dreambox on the mac using VLC its fine, but whenever i use direct recording through my box and play it back its choppy and skips every few minutes! :/

Im using the digital kaos 1.1 image, would changing image fix this problem?

any ideas?

it might you could always try the digital worlds image or a pli one..............have you installed a lot of plug ins on your dream box?

I might give PLI a try, the only plugins installed are the ones that come with the DK image :O
