it says press video to toggle between classic and multicolumn style which is the only relevent help option I can see but I dont think I have a video button on my clone remote?

tried a reboot doesnt work, and I cant find the video button on my remote, although I must have one to have switched it over in the first place

                      Try pressing TV or RADIO.

Positive I have seen a very similar problem to this (fairly certain it was the same image as well) before but not having much joy trying to find for it via search function. Keep trying though interested to know the outcome.

If the dreambox is connected to your PC, bring up the web interface. There is an option to bring up the remote on the screen and you can click on the buttons to simulate them being pressed on the remote. It's the larger style remote that's used so there will be a VIDEO button it.

Bring up the screen as normal using your remote, then press the VIDEO button on the web interface and see if it changes back.
