new dreambox owner

Hi All,
Just took delivery of new BLACKBOX 500C ( Clone )
No instructions with it, I would be gratefull for any help in setting up... what image to use etc

You will find lots of posts with loads of info on here . probably the best place to start would be to read this

I have read + read + read until my head is sore, just going round in circles.
I would real appreciate if any of you nice peeps would guide me towards a tutorial and what I need to get my box up and running / view non fta channels etc

Can you give me a bit more info on what you have done so far like...........
What have you done so far to get your box working?
Have you connected your box to your pc with flashfxp?
Have you got the correct files to transfer over?

New Dream Box

Hi All,
Sorry in delay in getting back to you all, been very busy.
Ok So I have....
Set up box, scanned and found loads of channels but can only watch fta.
I have learned to FTP to Box, Use dream up etc etc.
I have a new box with DW 2.1 image * which I like ) an I know I need to ftp up to date emu and keys files... problem is I cant seem to finad anywhere to down load sai files.
I would be very grateful if any of you nice peeps would point me in the right direction or be kind enogh to send me the files needed.

Sorry mate getting confused again.....
keys go to var/keys folder but I thought I also need a soft cam, which I though I need th ftp to emu file or is this the roms you refer to ?

ah right m8 your using digital worlds im not sure if that comes with the emu (evocamd) as digital kaos v1.1 does......I'll post you a link.

there ya go but you might need to sign up to there forums before you can use that link to download (couldn't find it floating around here) tho if you have your dreambox connected to the net you might be able to download evocamd from the digital worlds server straight from your box.......not sure if they have that option or if evocamd is already on that image 4 that matter.

Dream Box Help

I think I have got it now, getting myself confused with all the varying info, Neutrino, Enigma etc.
I have an old Dream Box which is working fine, bought a new Black copy and on the web site I bought it from it recomended your forum, I was thinking all the images are not the same and require alternative sofware etc.
I tried to take files from one to the other but cant get pc to talk to old box ???.
Played around with it a while and gave up, back now giving it another go...
Any-way thanks for all the help guys, I think I have all the info now.
