DM800 Set Keeps Hanging After Sometime

Hi,

I need some help, currently on DM800 using the image uploaded by abeltcb (chinese-dm800-2011-07-06-16-43.zip).

I am not too sure whether it is a hardware or software issue, it keeps on hanging and staying on the enigma2 boot screen after leaving the STB on for a few hours and no matter what I press on the remote, it doesnt work.

I worry it might be the over-heating issue, so I put a cooling pad underneath the STB, but the hanging issue remains the same eventhough the STB is cool.

But when I off and on the power straight from the plug, its goes back to normal.

Am I missing something somewhere?

Why don't u try to use newer image and see if the problem still persist. Currently, new image has the latest driver and on ssl84.

Can try, but the thing is, it does not support chinese language and the one uploaded by westkill (saw from comments that the channels doesnt work in bouquet).

Will flash new image and see how first.

The issue is, i am only left with FTA Channels.

I tried using both

newnigma2-dm800hd-v3-3-1-ramiMAHER #ssl84a

and

BlackHole-1-6-6-dm800hd-ramiMAHER-v3 final #ssl84a


- ftped the 2 "neccessary" folders into /usr

- ftped the bouquets in.

but nothing came out.

DreamersDVB told me to start emu by activating mgcamd, but i am totally clueless on how to do it.

I ftped the mgcamd 1.35a into /usr (script, bin & uninstall). But still the same.

Have u install the softcam that is mgcamd 1.35a? U can download it via the addons.

I ftped mgcamd 1.35a using DCC, is this enough? I cant seem to find the addon menu in the blue panel (for the blackhole image)

I am not sure about that image but i know there is an option to download the cams.

ok, i am currently using the newnigma image by ramimaher. Stable and no hanging. The only sad thing is, there is no chinese support for EPG.

I downloaded the chinese language pack. But that is for settings only, not for epg.

Just wondering is there anyone who can help??
