I am new to digital kaos. Just to check with u guys what the different between DM 500C & DM 500C II beside the color and network port? Which model is newer? Thank in advance

They are totally 2 different type of boxes with different chipsets, different firmware and not compatible between them except the casing look-alike. No firmware/image here suit you box.
