    Help - DM500C

    Hi all

Just been watchin the sports and put in another channel to get me to FX. (NCIS - love it!! )
Anyway-- the screen whent blank so i pressed the red button and nothing happened, pressed the off button - nothing happened, so i took the power lead out the back.
Left it a min, then turned it back on.
Done an auto scan - found 900!! pressed ok went back to main screen, pressed the red button and the epg is all blck - no channels - its like it didnt store.
pressed the ok and it had the channels on there but nothing in brackets!!
    any ideas??

Nothing in brackets simply means the epg has not yet loaded. It will be working now (by that i mean the brackets will now display channel).

so do you have to leave it 5 mins after the scan has competed??
Do I have to rescan it everytime i turn the box off??

          cheers

Sometimes channels move from time to time. The dream has an autoscan function that picks up most but not all movement. You shouldnt need to turn the box off. If you ever get a "black screen" leave it for 30 seconds. If it doesnt show delete that channel then do a fast scan.

Your box should be fine mate. By the way in NCIS i bet you they catch them!
