    8000hd

    I have been watching , reading and downloading and trying to learn whilst saving for an 8000hd..
    I so far have ?650 so I still have a few weeks to go saving....
    The dish is up and the coax run and the f type connector keeps staring at me from under my tv.
    Is this an easy reciever to set up and is there anything to watch for,

      AFAIK it's just as straight forward as any other Dreambox, the only difference being that it will display the HDTV stuff where as us lesser mortals with SDTV Dreamboxes only get a black screen

      I really want a DM800 but I'd need to sell BOTH my kidneys to get one.

          Don,t worry there be cheap enough soon and we will all have HD, in the mean time look after yr kidney,s. We may need yr hope 2 programme it! Cheers

              menus are a bit different from the likes of the 500 but it has lots more things to play with you will love it when you get it
