7025??.. thats a twin tuner box ...thats uses a twin combo of Cable/Sat /Terrs tuners... abit pointless for the cash youd be spending for it and youd only need the cable tuner.... no need for one of them if all you want is another cable box.. If its a dreambox your looking then id say a Dreambox 500c the "c" means cable theyre the cheapest.. or if you want pvr abilities then look at the Dreambox600c pvr

Dreamboxes are a little more technical then other boxes, you may even find a cheaper breed of cable box around, I dont know what prices they go for now... Ive only ever used Dreamboxes... cant go to wrong with a DM500c

500c - pvr feature on a 600 is useful only if you can't connect your DM to your PC. If you can connect it to your PC then you can record programmes to your PC.

          THE TRUTH
          The Hillsborough Independent Panel. 12/09/12

Today's report is black and white. The Liverpool fans were not the cause of the disaster.
The panel has quite simply found 'no evidence' in support of allegations of 'exceptional levels of drunkenness, ticketlessness or violence among Liverpool fans' and 'no evidence that fans had conspired to arrive late at the stadium' and 'no evidence that they stole from the dead and dying'.

However having the internal hard disk on the DM600 means you do not have to connect it to your PC to record/stream . It also saves having to have the PC on all the time incase you wish to record or view a recording... therefore also saving power.

I have one connected by wifi to my network, and stream my movies to anywhere... One box.... fully controlled via the internet.

              Thanx Everyones,
I would like twin turner box to watch another channel while one is being recorded. planning to replace the eurovox ex5000pvr in main room and move eurovox ex5000pvr to the other room as I am not very happy with eurovox ex5000pvr's sound quality as it is making background hissing noise when used with surround sound system especially on music channels. So what I would like to have is TWIN TURNER PVR and CRYSTAL CLEAR SOUND OUTPUT may be with Dolby Digital????? Please help. much regards and many thanks in advance,

For a twin tuner the DM7025 is gonna be the box... This box will be superceeded soon by the DM8000. Both are dual tuner, but the new receiver has the HD capability. However as c@ble has only one HD channel at the moment (despite their promises) it could be considered a waste of money, obviously VM will eventually get some new HD channels (no i do not know when, best to ask them that question and let us know the latest BS).

Your call, but there is more support for the DM7025 as it has been out for a while, the DM8000 will be bought by enthusiasts first.. It will take time for support to filter through..

I hope this helps.. Apologies for not reading your question thoroughly the first time..
