Help please with my next problem with FTP

I have tried to follow the guide but I am now stuck I have the files :- /var/keys/keys and new roms. The keys file has 9 files the first being autorol. The new roms file has 3 nagra 7 files. I only get the FTA channels. Help please I feel I am getting closer

you need to put the 9 files into Var>keys folder.
The roms go into Var>scce folder.

then restart the cam.

still struggling I cant put anything into the scce file any other ideas please

I think I havedone everthing by the FTP guide but when I get filezilla I have my computer in one pane and my dreambox 500 on the other, I cant put anything in the scce file both the nagra files and the key file go into the key files and I end up with var/key/ keys and new roms, if that makes sense I am getting a bit punch drunk as only get fta channels

Right lets start again.

You have connected so that the difficult part. You should now have downloaded 2 folders "keys" and "scce". In the "pc pane" open the keys folder and highlight them all. Now right click and choose copy. Now go to the "keys" folder of the dream, open it and right click and choose paste. The files will transfer. Now do the same for the scce folder.

Once you have done that reboot the pc, go to a scrambled channel and let it update.

Boogy I cant put anything into my scce file it just shunts it into the keys file

you must have a symlink from scce to keys. i take it your not using the dk image? this simply means that the /var/keys and /var/scce are the same directory.

Do you have your roms in /etc/tuxbox/scce/ by any chance?

having trouble with this too in the keys file to transfer to dreambox i have 17 files 9 of them nagra roms

Hi Boogy can you help last night I completely zapped the box on the final lap, will I be able to resolve the situation with a null cable and dream up. Would I be able to load the latest D.K image and would that give the latest AU options or would I still have to FTP the fix. The box I trashed was not my box and has not been used since December, I would like get it working again

you will have to use a null modem cable and dream up now i am afraid.
Also whatever image you use now, you will have to ftp the additional files ( kees, roms e.t.c ) to be able to get it all working.

have been using dw2 image am in oxford area think its pure ntl? going to try the updated dk image now on 1 of my boxes, got booster on full old chipped vm box working fine dont know whats going on
