    signal or tuner?

    i have had dreambox working fine for 2 years all of a sudden i dont seem to be able to get signal, maybe get bbc channels and freeones ,i have unplugged it and put old ntlbox with funcard in it and it picks up channels no trouble plenty of signal, does anyone have any thoughts please

    Sounds more like the tuner if it has suddenly dropped all channels but the vm box is fine. A booster may be worth a try. You could always buy one out of argos and if it doesnt work you can take it back.

    have you tried reflashing it just in case the image has become corrupt?

      got a booster connected just put dk image on and put key files in keys and roms in scce ?scanning now bruteforce snr is about 65% agc 43%

        snr is low mate should be holding stable at around 94%. if its an adjustable booster turn it up to max.

            i have 2 dreamboxs and cant get signal strong on either of them , im sure tuners wldnt have gone on both of them at same time , can vm lower the signal coming into your house

              Not directly but if they attach further customers to the little green box in the street this can affect signal level received. If you are a VM customer for any other services you could complain of a flaky service and an engineer visit would get a signal check done and if required a boost in signal.
