I'm considering going down the Virgin route for one of the rooms, as Virgin's already installed in it.

I know CS is not allowed to be discussed on here, but it's possible on Virgin, isn't it?

its possible... but finding one on cable is like looking for hens teeth.. and sats just better, certainly cheaper to buy a lenght of coax and run it up stairs

Unless you know somebody thats already running a server, dont bother !

Its technically very difficult to get the proper information to share an N3 card with the result that very few get to the stage where they can offer a server, even fewer would offer it publically.
