Foreign channels on Virgin cable?

Hi,

I've had a dreambox for years now and have recently set one up at another house. A Chinese friend lives there and she's wondering if it's possible to get the Asian channels such as Phoenix/PCNE?

Phoenix CNE is the only Chinese channel available on VM and its only available in ex-ntl areas.

This area was Telewest before Virgin took over.. does that mean I can't get it?

We get phoenix cne plus another ten asian stations in the Leeds area. The box super I have only gives the London news though. It must have the wrong area code in.
