DM800HD web interface failure after plugin update

    Hi,
Received a gift from friend..DM800HD PVR (Clone),image release is rather new (26/1/2012), after playing for it for a few days..getting itchy hand go update the "web interface plugin ", eversince then..the interface dead..can't connect to the web interface..my android phone control also dead. Rebooted many times, uninstall /reboot/install repeated many times cant get it to work.

The FTP interface is still working..I have backup /scce , /keys, /enigma /bouguet folders however didnt back up the initial plugin..

    Question
    1) How to see the web interface plugin (web server) service is running ?

Any kind soul has a proven working webinterface plugin for DM800HD PVR ,please send me a copy...

Avoid going to the route of master reset which i foresee will see more problem.

use telnet to do installation force-overwrite with the patched webinterface plugin...

remember you need to clear your browser's cache before keying in you ip address again...

thanks, the likely problem was my ignorant to uninstall language (German) pack to free up memory ..that proven to be no return road causing boot looping @ SSL stage

Anyway, I managed to load in another ROM to get the box working again..exhausted..havent recovered from panic stress..

            Question.
Can you put up clearly on the exact commands of force installing..

              opkg install /tmp/*filename.ipk* --force-overwrite

remember to ftp the file into your /tmp folder first

you can go find the language pack you deleted and install it back using this way.

Im not too sure whether deleting language pack will cause boot looping...did you do anything else??

Check your DHCP and your web interface IP Address.

thanks alot for the information.. Lesson learnt is never touch those addon update if nothing break..and do not uninstall system stuff...I did uninstallation of german language..after that..just keep boot looping..

I am hopping to other websites to pick up piece here and there..
