    Streaming Movies to DM600

I am running PLI-Jade image on a Dm600 and would like to stream movies from my PC to the Dreambox.
I used to be able to do this with a Dbox2 but cant get it to work with the DM600.

    I have several problems.
I tried the telnet method as mentioned in a previous thread, but i couldn't get to the config folder to edit the vlcf.xml file. And some of the folders/files didnt appear to have gone in to the correct folders.
I tried changing the stream settings on the web inteface,so I can use the builtin movieplayer, but they do not change when trying to save the modifed settings.
Is there something wrong with some file/folder permissions?

Does anyone have any other ideas of how i can stream using the PLI-Jade image?

Never done it myself but I think there is plugin you need to install for watching the movies from your pc. I would suggest going to their site and posting this question.

I also followed the instructions for the movieplayer, not a bother.. Unlike the DM500c which is so flaky when it comes to streaming to and from a pc/nas.

        Real men have FTTH.

            Thanks everyone.
I reflashed with the PLI-Jade image and followed the instructions for MoviePlayer on the PLI website and its running great.
Also got the dreambox streaming to the laptop using Dreambox Viewer 3.0.1. Great program
