Help with a dreambox dm800hd

hi

i have a dreambox dm800hd and dreamelite bh image installed on it

everything works fine except the internet connection. i have dhcp enabled and it finds an ip address and when i do the connection test get green ticks for everything and says my connection is fine but when i go to download plug-ins it says connection failed straight away

im using a vonets vap11g wifi bridge which i set up on my pc and was able to use to connect to the internet on pc without any problems

any help is appreciatied

have u a password setup on your router ? can put the ip of the box on a webpage and open the box webpage ?

hi thanks for reply mate

theres no password on my router as far as i know just the usual adin admin

and i put the ip address of my box there into my browser and it loaded dreambox webcontrol without any problems

strange then ,, are your channels clearing too ?

im not able to test the channels the now not got a line but should have tomorrow. is there any other way i can test the connection without channels?

sounds like your connected to your nextwork but not internet . can u move box and put into router and see if it downloads then , u dont need your sat plugged in

just tried it there mate connected the box directly to the router via ethernet cable and its doing the exact same thing, network test is showing ok but when trying to download plugins it says connection failed

strange one m8 ,. wot plug in u looking at , mine looks like this but use a fixed ip

mines it the same m8 except its all green ticks, strange

could it be the dreamelite server thats down?

dont know l dont need to download any and wifes watching it ,, someone else might try ,, and once again wot u trying to download

soon as i try to go into plug ins it says connection failed mate was gonna download cccam for it but will add it manually and try get a test line off someone until tomorrow

my downloads are working m8 so not sure wots your problem
