how often do you need to reflash

hi all
new to this as just moved over from old pace 1000b
how often do these 500s need to be reflash
and is the only way to set up channels in to sets without joining to p.c the long way of going thought the lot 1 by 1

i post this in wrong place 1st how do i remove a post ?

You won't need to flash the dreambox unless there's a problem.
