    what do i need to watch TV on my laptop ?

    I can change channels via the web interface, listen to the audio using the link at the top of the webpage( VLC media opens it ) but when i press the video stream link , windows media player tries to open it and gives me an error, the webxtv link i get a black screen and 'done' at the bottom in the status bar... i got VLC media player 0.98 with the active x plugin installed...

    Be great to get this working .

      use the web interface...but forget web-tv thing.....use FISCstream instead...works alot better.

      there is a link to the software in the dreambox cable section.
      enter the dreambox address, http port 80...put the password and user name in and press connect...easy.
      use the web interface to load up channels...although FISCstream does have a tv guide built in....
      double click the image to go full screen...once full screen `hit `A` (lower case)...this will keep the image `to the front`..so u can browse the net and keep the tv always showing!...

      also the resizing of the image keeps the aspect ratio....unlike web-tv...
