ok ive successfully flashed my d500c thanks to help on here..now i just have black screens so need help with files for keys and understand have to connect comp,dreambox and router together..do i use null from comp to dreambox then crossover to router from dreambox..thanks

Send to DB with FTP software.
Filezilla is 1 of them, you can use any you r used to. Go to dl section for/choose your liking.
DB direct to Computer use CROSS Rj45 cable.
DB via router to Computer use STRAIGHT Rj45 cable.

ive got a crossover cable..is the straight one just normal ethernet cable that comes with your router???

sorry i take it i only need to do one of the above to connect up not both

Yes, usually the str is come with modem or router. If yr eyes r gud, compare the 2 ends, if colors r same in the 8 slot for both Rj45 plug, it str, if the 2 plugs with colrs seen not the same in the same slot of 8, then prolly it X.

ive just had a quick go at it and got the message "error 10057 in function send socket is not connected"

any ideas how to resolve this??

hey guys ive got dcc up and running yet the keys i have i transferred over yet they not showing up on DB after reboot and still only FTA channels..what am i doin wrong???

not sure..as a noob ive just flashed it with 1.1 then used DCC to transfer files altho nothin changed..how would i check this regarding cam

ive transferred the scce successfully but when i look in var/keys there is nothing there even tho when using DCC it shows they are there...i have evocam2.12 if this helps

you probably need to transfer the keys again

ive reflashed the box, sent keys over again rebooted etc yet still black screen..aaaarrrrrrrggghhhhhhhh...pms grateful

thanks DB im in UK(liverpool) not sure bout upto date keys etc...reading thru last night i havent schmod to 755 so gonna give that go later..any senior help would be much appreciated still..
