Flashing prob

I have the DM 5000c hooked up to my PC.... Dream up loaded and seeing the box.... I have clicked flash..... got to select image but Dreamup is looing for a .bin or .ing file.... it isn't seeing the DW2.0.rar file


any ideas where I am going wrong

A .rar file is a compressed file just like .zip only with greater compression.

Download and install WinRar from here...

Then when you double click on the .rar file it will open and you will see the .img file.

Sorry I am out of practice with the PC..... how do I open the WinRAR once I have downloaded it ad it is a .rar file

Oops...that was a bit blonde !

I've now edited it, download it again. It should come down as a .zip now.

Thanks again...... can you recommend a good zip program..... I have lost touch with PC since I migrated to mac a few years ago

WinZip or 7-Zip are good programs.
