DM500 Almost there, just need to know where to ftp the nagraroms

Hi all,
Ive had a really frustating few days but almost there.

I was on DW image before i put on the DK1.1.

In the DW image i would drop the nagraroms into var/keys and restart emu. In the DK1.1 image i have tried the same process but doesn't work.

Can someone help me with the right loaction on my dreambox for the Nagraroms 7,10,11?

They go in /var/scce.

I did try the var/scce earlier but still had no picture.

I followed the guide how to ftp the fix into your dreambox for noobs.

Have now flash erased because i tried a few other things aswell. So will try and reflash the image and try again.

Delete the contents of the /var/keys and /var/scce folder on your box.

Copy the contents of the keys folder in the rar to /var/keys and the same with the scce folder to /var/scce.

Go to sky sports 1, press MENU > SHUTDOWN > reboot now

When it reboots, flick to sky sports 2, wait 5 secs, the flick back to sky sports 1. Wait until the channel comes on.

Reflashed with DK 1.1, installed nagraroms into var/scce, Put on Sly Sports 1, started evocam 212.

But nothing...no picture.

Can anyone help before i rip my hair out?

Finally...A few strands remain on the head.

But thanks to you i'm back up and running.....almost forgot to mention the DK image has got me streaming aswell on my laptop

Hi, I'm having the same problem, but your suggestions didn't fix it. I've changed to DK1.1 from DW which was working with Chxrus in Ireland, scanned the channels with new image, but they're all blank except for few like RTE1 and euronews.

I've downloaded new keys and roms from your link and loaded them into box as per instructions but no change.

What am I missing?

Yeah glad you fixed it...I also dowloaded mfaraj dreamview player and watch and control dreambox via my laptop.

Now getting familiar with DK 1.1 and realise its much better than many others ive tried.
