    dm 800 won't start

    hi guys,
    i need your help badly. i've just upgrade today to dm800c hd pvr with nabilosat image instaled. when i started up everything seemed to be fine but then when at some point screen asked me "do you want to download updates" i press "yes" and then "do you want reboot now" again "yes" and...
    and that's it box doesn't respond at all to remote, to the button also and after re-start on box screen appears only "dream multimedia". I've try to use dream up to re-flash but no connection, even when i've check router there is no more dreambox connected
    Any idea what could hapened and what i might do to bring it to live.

      do u know how to use web browser to flash?
      Connect your box to internet, Open web browser and enter IP address of the box on the URL.
      Select Firmware upgrade

          i cannot use browser bcos box isn't appear on router connection list. i cannot get into it and don't know why.
          what else can do?

              Switch off box, press power button on front and hold power up box, on small screen should say stop then ip address will come up. put this ip into your browser and enter. then upgrade firmware with your new image. thats it.

                  done it many times but nothing. power buton don't responde so only how i can switch it off is puling out power cable but when i power up again power buton (red led) flashing three times and on small screen is same msg again 'dream multimedia' and that's it.

                      Is there any error display on the front lcd like dreammultimedia ERROR! or dreammultimedia ERROR 01 NO CA? First error may be due to yr sim card faulty while the second, u need patch dreamup to recover yr box or optiflasher.

                          Are you powering off for long enough?

                          You need to switch off mains for at least 10 seconds. Then hold the power button on the front of the box and keep it pressed whilst switching on the power. Keep the button pressed until you get the message "stopped" and the IP address shows.
