DM500 Recording to PC (Ubuntu)

I am having difficulty mounting a shared folder in order to record direct to my PC. I have created a shared folder in Ubuntu, and I can FTP and access the web interface successfully. I am trying to mount the share via the web interface:

i could be wrong but isnt nfs for linux

I have managed to mount a share in my root directory using CIFS. I have an xfs partition that I use for Mythtv. For some reason it will not mount a share on that partition.
