DM500 What will i get if I use my DB now?

I know nag3 will stop me getting any premium channels but someone i know has recently moved into a flat with no TV aerial and just a cable feed.

If i give them my old DM500 will it get even just the free channels?

It will,or should,get freeview channels but it wont pick up as many as an aerial would because vermin media don't transmit all freeview channels via their cable feeds.

OK thanks, I'll give it a try, is there a preferred image now?

Maybe one that includes an option to only scan FTA channels?
