DM800 SGSH Low signals on Freq. 658

This r the channels that signals is around 71% whereas others is around 85%. Please note that this is for my experimental purposes different location may vary so if u encounter this issue u know what to do like getting a booster like some bro mention, I will get splitter range 2600mhz to see if it can boost the signals, presently i'm using a 3 way 2300 - 2400mhz

hey astro,

i've just installed my set after a trial setup with a new longer cable and now my signal strength is pretty weak. i'm thinking it's the cable but could it be my DM800 being the problem?

Why do u need a long cable if present method works great & what type of cable u're using now? If standard SH issue that would be great if not u can get it at SLT or SLS ask for RG6 cable & how long just keep a little bit longer will do & if using splitter what type? all this u have to take note, or u can experiment using booster as 800C tuner is not like 500C

Hi jus bought FY HD800C-II and I cannot receive 370mHz (HD5, HBO HD, HBO Hits HD & Food network asia) due to weak or no signal. so wat type of booster shld I get and which shop in SLS?

Also I plug in external HDD tinking of recording but the box sometime can detect but mostly can't detect HDD. wat shld I do?

Any advice?? many thanks!

Can't help u on this as i don't use this box personally to me this box is crap a lot of problem.
As for signal u can try get booster at any SLT shop hunt for it who knows u can get a better price.
Something like this depend on how many way u want to split the signal

If this box is crap den which is better alternative?
solve signal issue...juz change cable now can receive HD5 etc. but HDD function still unstable... sometime can detect mostly cannot... tink can't use potable HDD coz bus power not enough
which box should i change to? there is so many diff model so lost pls help!!

Get dm800se if u don't mind the price else dm800.

Only buy Dreambox for SG use.. unless you very familiar with the function and setup of other OEM models.

thanks all for info. both 800 & 800se haf HDMI rite? coz saw some photo only scart

i juz notice all signals received avg 70% intensity and 70% quality. if i get signal booster to increase sigal intensity would it make visible pic inprovement? now HD channels looks gd. dunno whether can make it even better...any advice? many thkz

As long the picture don't freeze, pixelate or hang
then you don't need a booster, just make sure you have a good quality antenna cable will do.

Is HBO HD group still using 370MHz...my box suddenly can not detect the 370MHz group, basically 2 HBO, CH 5 HD all gone..

155 HD5
256 All Sports Network HD
433 Food Network Asia
655 HBO HD
658 HBO Hits HD
All the above is on 370 no problem for now.
What Box u using?
