dreambox 500c ypbpr output

i noticed the dreambox (with DK image) has a video output option of ypbpr yet the box doesn't seem to have component cable outputs.

am i supposed to use the 3x composite cables as the colour channels and the optical/digital sound output for the audio channels?

or am i supposed to use a scart -> component convertor? if so surely the scart would be a bottleneck for the output quality?

scart supports ypbpr output. think of it like a hdmi to dvi cable. it doesnt change the signal but just changes the plug.
