Hello friends describe your ideas how to flash *.fw2 file on dm500. I am trying many time with flashwizard 6.3 but no hope. anyone have any better idea please share with us

Mate where i will find the tutorials? When i trying to flash my dreambox dm500 after successfully connecting the box it says restoring the backup and after 50% it was hanged i have tried many time but same result. My dreambox image is pli jade and i am trying to flash a *.fw2 file, the fw2 file is 6.9 mb..

Maybe your backup file is corrupt?

A .fw2 and .fwz file is a FlashWizardPro backup image. The only way to flash these images is with FWP. If it's hanging all the time, try flashing another image using FWP then try the backup again. If it still hangs, then you know the image is corrupt.
