help please to ftp the fix please

I am doing everything by the guides to ftp the fix I clear out the keys & scce transfer the new files over I unplug the box , try it get only fta progs, connect the box to my computer and the keys and scce have reverted to a 1970 version, I feel I am so near but so far away unless I get help. I am using fixzilla on a dreambox with a DW image. Is there something I should be doing to save my changes, help please

just download that image from that link and then flash your box using dreamup and a null modem cable once thats done you will need to do a scan for your area and your good 2 go.

tell me when you have downloaded and i will remove the link.

Thanks Dreadfan I,ve been at this since 1o,clock and my brain is a bit mince just now, I,ve downloaded your link and will try that out 2moro . The bad news is I thought this would be something easy to do as I,ve not had any success in flashing an image with vista,null cable and my mini proccessor.

Download files from here...

Delete the contents of the /var/keys and /var/scce folder on your box.

Copy the contents of the keys folder in the rar to /var/keys and the same with the scce folder to /var/scce.

If you are using a DW image then all the files go in /var/keys. If you click on /var/scce it should automatically take you to /var/keys anyway.

Go to sky sports 1, press MENU > SHUTDOWN > reboot now

When it reboots, flick to sky sports 2, wait 5 secs, the flick back to sky sports 1. Wait until the channel comes on.

i don't understand how that could be the case m8 that file was a .bin but it was a backup file used for dreamup. If you know how to FTP use the files that Devilfish posted (which are the new ones) and you should be ok
