New user,blank screen channels

i have looked around a bit at all sorts of threads and problems,but right now i have just received a dreambox 500c from dvbmonkey (i dont know if these already have a image or something on them already but the DK logo is always floating around) first thing on setup is i choose from a list of names to search so i choose bruteforceuk...i have also tried the other ones,so then i have picked up many channels...all that i can think of...but only bbc etc show images and all the rest are blacked out even freeview skysportsnews has a little locked key thing when yo press the info button. atm i cant get around this...all i can say is ssports1 flashed up then the screen frooze and similary sky3 did the same just briefly...need help

Did you try replacing your keys and roms (if you have any)... they go into the "keys" and "scce" folders on your box

If Sky Sports and Sky 3 appeared unencrypted for even a split second then your EMU etc are all intact as they would have to had Auto-Updated in order to show that single image on your TV.

Tell us as much as possible.

Are you 100% certain that those channels cleared for the split second?

Is your Signal ok?

i havent been able to use ftp for codes yet as i dont have the ethernet crossover cavle..just the normal one and i dont have null modem,these are the only ways to put keys in the box aren't they?
yes i really did see sports1 flash up then just freeze the image,the signal on all the channels shows as fine
