right roms and keys help

Hi all

So I've got the 500c up and running. It's using the gemini project image and i can get a lock on all the channels that i know are in australia. Problem is they are locked - even free to air channels.

I've looked around for the right keys and roms for my area and provider with no luck, tried these with no luck and have tried different camd's aswell.

The files are ftp'd into the right directories etc (scce and keys), thats no probs I'm guessing I need Aussie keys and roms to get it going 100%. So If you guys know those keys or know what I'm doing wrong if anything then please let me know.

Also curious about knowing if the gemini image is the best one or which image is better, only using the gemini one cos it was on there and 'seems' easy enough to use, anyway cheers.

This is mainly a UK based forum, the cable discussions are UK cable. These keys and rom files will not work in Australia. You will need to find out what encryption your cable company uses and then find out if it is hacked or not.

i do realise this is predominately a uk forum but i do know other aussies have looked here and got help here.

anyway the cable companies here use nds videoguard and irdeto 2. i've read somewhere that they may not be hacked as yet or something about them being able to be programmed provider specific, which may also be part of the reason it works in some places and not others - who knows, anyway thanx i'll keep looking around
