I have also had problems recording
so I use ngrab ok on enigma imsges dm500 and dbox
on dk i.i put files in and worked straight away

ftp to /var/tuxbox/plugins

As it turns out, it was recording but it was dropping chunks like mad. Using Ngrab without a problem now.

I can transfer at 30MB/sec using CIFS from windows>windows, so i dunno why the dreambox can't handle 5Mb/sec, but it's all sorted now. Just gotta get HD recording working, I think that'll be more of a pain. Might have to get a DVB-C card for that. Anyone got ITV/BBCHD recording working with a DM500C/clone?
