Check DM500C Image

I am currently using a DM500C. However, I have no idea what image it is running. How do I check what image my DM500C is being used?

I noticed that channels are starting to go missing. I was having channels from SH previously. How do I update? I am a total noob.

When I said missing, I mean that it shows a blank screen though the channel details are still there. Some sort of security from SH?

When u said blank screen, do u mean all encrypted channels are not viewable or only certain channels?

Hi, I have the same issue, not sure what version my dm500c is running, also web-tv is not working, i would like an image that supports webtv

do you guys know if i stick a cable card in if the dm500c can copy codes etc.. we live in a small town and our provider is not 100% legal either and i bet security is not a big issue

Then turn off your power and turn it on again. Look at the boot up screen. It states the image clearly........

I am still going through the thread. It is a long one with a lot of information to digest.

After pressing the yellow button on the remote, I saw a line stating that the software is 'PPanel by Dream Multimedia'.
