Dear all - can the mentioned above subject be flashed? The followings are my challenges:

1. I do not have the username and password.root and dreambox doesn't work

2. It does not come with a serial nor USB port.It only has RJ45 port

3. DreamUp (COM1) doesn't talk to the box even after going thru a signal conversion via RS232 - RJ45 (industrial product). DreamUp(IP) failed to recognize the box as dreambox

4. Port 23 is disabled, 21 is fine but again back to Qn 1.

Am i right to say DreamUp only works on a true dreambox?

First of all, we would like to know the reason for reflash?
Box not working anymore or................?

If you want to reflash, do you have the image for your box then?
If you have the necessary key / scce files , then can you do a telnet to flash.......and then ftp keys.

But if you don't know any of the above, then better not do any flashing. You make it worst

Hahaha... i nearly fall off my chair... in short, you can't use the methods posted here to tackle this box...

Get a dreambox and use the img posted here with the so-called magic files...

Anyway, tonight is the start of Euro.... Wonder if they will send some ECM out... hmmmm... I will pray for you all from where i am...

ya, FY boost their cardless can never be zapped with any roll. They say they r not worried. They hv went back. 1 technician is still here till Sunday before he go back. They hv collected enuf stream info for the necessary changes. What worry them is the Freq change which their box cant update AU. Oso DB cant AU.
They still cant do any thing on the new system xcept CS.
