My DM 500C cannot watch channel 225 and 226

hello. I am a newbie here , i could not watch soc in my DM 500c. i call my friend and he ask me to reset the password to 0000 but it still dont work. can any kind brothers help me.

If u r stuck on the password, there is not much u can do or we can help except u flash a new image and start from scratch. If yr friend set is working fine, backup his image and flash it to yr set and all will be good just like his box.

U can find sg configured image in the download section but u can view only fta if u don't have the magic files.

i spend 2 hours figuring out but to no avail. i am ******** n a noob in this IT stuff. sigh...

one online vendor told me to go to menu - setup - set password 0000 - sat - and transponder--manual scan--466MHz. but the problem is the password is incorrect. i try 1234 but also unable to do it. sigh. i couldnt watch any of the matches

i just bought a Aten usb to serial converter and a null modem cable. i am trying to dreamup now. hope it works.

finally i can watch. but i spend $45 on those 2 wires. but i think i learnt something. by the way, i have another set which has the green light on, but the image on tv is totally black without the pli image. should i do dreamup the same too?
