Shouldn't be a problem as u can get a female to female type of null modem cable.

Yes, I'm looking for a working one. I bought one form ebay and I can't get it to work. That's why I want to buy the recommended one. But unfortunately it's the male type.

I already have female to female. Okay, I can use the male part of the usb to connect the female to female. Hope that's what you mean.

In the alternative, can anyone refer me to usb - serial (female) serial converter, tester and working with windows 7.

            Thanks.

don't have such product. You still need to get a usb adapter and a null modem cable separately.
