White FY HD-800C

My FYDH 800-c suddenly could not worked. Only showing one green light, and could not boot up. The TV is unable to detect the box too.

Is it possible to flash the firmware? How shld I do it?

It happen to me after I did a channel search. Had try to search for a solution, but nothing can be found...

i only did a channel search when i first power on the device , after which i did not do anything to it.

Happen to my HD800CII as well, change change box to wall TV point and pixelation gone. used RG6 cable.
HD800CII only comes in black box if am not wrong. white box is HD800C so depend on which u ordered.

Bros, I use FY HD-800C white box. Working fine except some Hd channels, like Fox Family many time become pixelated. Also in the seller store in Aliexpress, the receiver is FYHD800-C II HD receiver. Means version 2. Which is is correct?

tried scanning and scanning but just couldn't find a single channel. its weird cos it was still working fine yesterday.

Hi all,

Glad I found this place. My first post. ^^

Anyway, not sure if this is the right topic, but just got one of these, BUT.... the unit says MVHD (HD800C) instead of FYHD that all of you seems to be talking about (??). And the unit is black, not white. Are they the same thing?

Anyways, setup was a breeze. Just plug in HDMI cable, did a channel scan (Menu --> Nit Search) and ... voila ! Everything works great !

No issues whatsoever after 24 hours (touchwood). I even turn my whole system on/off to see if channels memory get lost or (like one of the bros here), get blank screen, but everything was still 'perfect'.

While I think it only output 1080i (not true Hi-Def), I'm VERY happy with the PQ !

One question, I read here about this 'EPG'. What is it? Thanks. )

2. is there any way to delete recorded clips on the HD from the box?
