Need help with my dm500c

Hmmm... What image are you using? My spponfeed image in download section with online keys & channels update?

If yes, you must have not been in thr forum for months. There is nothing wrong with your box neither with the image. It is just I have stop the online updates of keys & channels as some trader or online seller is using it for business purpose. What pissed me off is they claimed to be exclusive therefore I force to pull the hand brake.

i wanted to remove the euro channels and accidentally cleared all channels... now it seems i have to reflash another image, but i do not know the ip address of my dm500c, is there anyway to find out? going to settings of the dm requires pin

You can try to ping dm500 using cmd but then even if you get the ip address, you will not be able to connect as the user as well as password have been change. No longer user: root & password: dreambox.

Your only option to flash the box will be via dreamup which dows not require pin, user & password. Even if using network flash on dreamup, you can juz humtam a ip address inline with your com ip address (i.e: com= 192.168.0.101/ box= 192.168.0.168) it will connect.

or goto yr router default ip and see device ip for yr dreambox.
Many Bros cant see ip of DM500 can use this method or use Master SGDVB's recommended.
