cannot watch other channels during recording

I have a dm 800HD se.when i start recording, most of the other channels become greyed out and unable to watch.only some local channels available.

How many tuners does your dm800 have?
Im guessing one!
this is how it should work??, if you want to watch one record another, you need a twin tuner box.

If dm800 is twin tuner, ignore me, im fulla shit

p.s the channels you still can watch while recording are channels on the same transponder of the channel your recording
