    DM500 URGENT HELP Envision EN-500C Vision

    Hi All,

    I need some help asap.

    I have an Envision EN-500C Vision which I believe is the same as Dreambox 500.

    I tried to update the image using both dreamup and flashwizard but have got problems.

    When I try to connect via the network cable and link the box to my laptop the box wont pair as it says invalid login / password.

    I am using the stock login "root" and password "dreambox"

    It appears that the person I had the box off has used their own login / password and you guessed it I can`t get in touch with them as it was thru a friend of a friend.

    I have tried to work around this by removing the image but still I can`t pair the box.

    So please can anyone help me out as I really need to get this sorted asap otherwise I`ve got myself a expensive paperweight.

      Use Dreamup and a null modem cable to flash a new image.

          LOL, I think ive answered this same question somewhere else today.
