Help with DM500C!

hi guys, i bought a DM500C from satsun and i've just received it today.
here's what i have done since i got it.

i powered it on and i started to scan through the channels.
i found quite a number of channels but i could not connect to any of them.

then i started reading the guides and here's what i did.

i downloaded flashwizardpro ( dont have a null cable ) and i flashed my box with DK 1.1, then i put the keys and roms in var/keys & scce ( steps following http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums...71/#post143518 )

then i started trying to search for channels, however i wasnt able to receive any channels and the message shown as "all known transponders have been tried, but no lock was possible.verify antenna and cable"

next i downloaded cables.xml the ones with the brute force and i ftp'd it over. but i received the same problem as before.

i notice some user's talking about emulators and how it could be found at the blue button/hold info for 3 sec at DK screen.

i tried doing the above 2 methods however i wasnt able to find any cam of any sort on the plugin menu on the blue button. (only dreamnetcastinternet radio, RSS newscaster, Tuxbox commander,teletext).

could someone please help me with getting started on my dreambox500c from scratch again? ( i reflashed and started from scratch using the steps here " http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums...71/#post143518 " for like 3 times and each time i wasnt able to even scan for any channels )

im from singapore and
my cable provider is starhub
i dont know which kind of encryption it uses however when i got the box with the default filmware, i was able to detect channels. ( only after i flashed my box, the problems started)

items on hand > ethernet cable, flashwizard pro,filezilla ftp

i selected the 2 options available SR6900 and the other however both wasnt able to scan anything

hi, i've changed the frequency to 206 MHz
and as i wasnt able to see the SID and such i press the yellow button ( enter pids )

and i saw a couple of options

and here's what i added

Name : unnamed service
Provider :206
Video pid : 0000 PCR PID: 0000
AUDIO pid :0000 is AC3 PID (unchecked)
Text PID: 0000 Service ID: 0354
TSID:0000 ONID:0000
No DVB (checked) use sdt (unchecked)

hold names (checked)

than i save ( blue button )

under main options

Frequency: 00206 MHz inv (unchecked)
Modulation: 64-OAM FEC : auto
Symbol rate : 06900


( btw does anyone feel current running through the cable wire ( from wall to DM500c the one carrying the signals) i changed to a new cable and when changing i felt both give out some current.) ( signal seems fine though, i checked the signal and i was able to watch normal free channels on my tv ( without the DM500C just direct to TV )))

oh and i got the same response from the box as with my other try's not being able to scan.

and sorry to bother you but, where do i put the service file? under var ?

Not sure for dk image try var/tuxbox/config/enigma

you will need to restart the box when you've copied the file over

ok thanks! i've replaced the services file under var/tuxbox/config/enigma with the one you provided me

however i cant see any changes with the box.

do i need to reboot? i ftp'd from my pc to the dreambox without rebooting

restart the box.

what cam are you using?
